General Liability, Return, Warranty, and Service Policies

These Policies Apply ONLY to Product Purchased From an Authorized Walkera Dealer

Please read and understand BEFORE purchasing your product(s).

Warning and Free Liability Agreement

The goods, and their dealers, distributors and users are strictly subject to the following terms of warning and free liability. The buyers shall be clear with the suitability of the product for his/her intended use and shall assume all risk and liability in connection therewith.  The buyers ensure himself/herself has comprehended well the characteristics and functions of the modeling, and would like to accept the corresponding liability. The users should carefully read the instruction and obey the guidance of the manufacturer. The users must clearly recognize modeling products should be used and run under the regulations and laws allowed by the local government.

Guangzhou Walkera Technology CO., LTD (thereafter referred to as "Walkera") and Walkera Helicopter Supply Inc. (hereafter referred to as WHS) accept no liability for the compensation of loss and injuries of the user, or any third party, caused by the improper usage of modeling and accessories. Walkera and WHS also accept no liability for the damage and/or crash,loss of kits, engine and accessories, parts and materials that occurs during the use of any radio-controlled model as we have no control over the way they are installed, used and operated.

Walkera kindly warns hobbyists:  radio-controlled model is not a toy, and please carefully operate it only under the condition that you can absolutely control over it. The behavior of your purchase soundly states you have clearly recognized the situations above and like to take all the consequent risks. If you substitute or replace normal kit hardware and/or radio components with aftermarket accessories rather than Walkera original parts, Walkera cannot be responsible for the problems or equipment failure caused by incompatibility or modifications. Walkera makes every effort to ensure the accuracy of the information published in our catalog(s) and on our Web site(s), however, the documents and graphics published on this site may contain technical inaccuracies or typographical errors. Walkera and WHS makes no representations about the suitability of the information and graphics presented on this site.  All such documents and graphics are provided without warranty of any kind. We reserve the right to alter the specifications of any item illustrated or listed in our catalogue(s) and website(s).

Shipping

Walkera Helicopter Supply Co. represents Walkera International Limited, the company that designs manufactures and distributes all Walkera products in China. We strive to maintain stock of all products right here in the USA. Items not in stock but available from the factory can be brought in via air express by placing a special order.

All customers need to be aware that there are certain restrictions on the shipment of LiPo batteries. Products shipped outside the USA containing LiPo batteries (i.e. BNF Master CP w/ LiPo) will be shipped without the battery unless the purchaser chooses a shipping method that allows the LiPo to be included. We can also send your LiPo separately upon payment of additional shipping costs. It is the customer's responsibility to pay all customs fees, duties and taxes at time of package delivery, it is the law of your country.

 

Return Policy

As with all vehicles, all sales are final, once it leaves the hangar (shipping warehouse). Product cannot be returned for any reason including, but not limited to:
  • Buyer's remorse
  • No longer needing or wanting the product
  • Lack of product knowledge - we do not train pilots, beginning or otherwise
  • Failing to properly pre-flight (check TX settings, fastener tightness, etc.) the product
  • Trade-in or exchange for a different product

If an item is determined to have a factory fault or defect the following applies.

 

Warranty and Repair Policy

All products have a 7-day overall warranty and extended parts warranty of 30-days.

DOA Products
All products are checked before they are shipped. In the unlikely event the product is faulty, we must be notified within 7 days of receipt and the product must be returned, prepaid, to our service center for repair to an address provided by us.  We will repair or replace your item at our discretion provided your product or item
has not been soldered or otherwise altered, has no physical damage, and shows no sign of wear other than that necessary to evaluate the product to discover any product issues.  Prior to returning your product you MUST first obtain an RMA number from our service department,  provide photos or a video of the issue, and provide a copy of your sales receipt from an authorized Walkera dealer showing the date and amount of purchase.  This will help us assist you with evaluating issues before you incur the expense of returning the product to us.

Walkera Helicopter Supply Co. cannot accept products for warranty service that have been clearly used more than the amount needed to evaluate their functionality. If returned products are found to be in working condition and the lack of functionality is a result of knowledge, electronics set up, or assembly error on the customer’s part, no replacement(s) will be made and the product(s) will be returned to the customer at the customer's expense. This warranty is void if there is evidence that the product has been modified, hacked, used with non Walkera Helicopter Supply Co./Walkera software, parameters changed, or an unauthorized attempt to repair the problem. In each of these cases, Walkera International Ltd. and Walkera Helicopter Supply Co. will not, and cannot, be responsible and therefore will not provide warranty exchange or repair. You may, however, opt to pay the service center for parts and labor should you still want your item back in working condition.
30 Day Parts Warranty
Parts have an extended warranty of 30-days against factory defect. This warranty covers parts only and does not cover any labor or return shipping to the customer. Before beginning any warranty work, we will advise the customer of the repair’s estimated labor cost. For customers with the skills to do so, you may return only the defective part(s), saving yourself any labor charges and greatly reducing your shipping costs. You are required to return the failed part, must provide photos or a video to document your reason for your warranty claim, and provide your receipt showing purchase from an authorized Walkera dealer and purchase price.  Upon receipt, your item(s) will be evaluated and replaced free-of-charge, excluding return shipping.  The customer will be billed shipping charges for the carrier of the customer's choice which must be paid before the replacement part is shipped.


Damage Limits

Walkera Helicopter Supply Co. shall not be liable for special, indirect or consequential damages, loss of profits, changes to scheduling or production, or commercial loss in any way, directly or indirectly, related with products sold by Walkera Helicopter Supply Co., whether such claim is based in contract, warranty, negligence, or strict liability.  As Walkera Helicopter Supply Co. has no control over use, setup, final assembly, modification or misuse, no liability shall be assumed nor accepted for any resulting damage or injury.  By the act of use, setup or assembly, the user accepts all resulting liability.  If you, as the Purchaser or user, are not prepared to accept the liability associated with the use of our product line, you are advised not to purchase any of our product offerings.
